From July 1, all personal data (PD) of the Russians must be stored and processed inside the country: Transferring these data abroad from PD operators to the processors must now have been impossible, and the corresponding amendments to the law “on the personal data” that were entered into force.

Before entering this standard, PD operators can implement all procedures that contain data on servers in Russia, then transfer databases for further analysis to foreign processors. Now it is banned. Therefore, registration, organization, accumulation, storage, update, changing and extracting personal data for the Russians who use databases abroad is not allowed.

Therefore, processors include sellers who provide companies with analytical tools-such as Google Analytics, employee document management services, CRM systems and others.

Personal data includes a title, first name, or first name – in a set with an email address, phone number or passport data; Date and place of birth – in conjunction with the name; Residence address, phone number, email address; Passport data, tin, SNILS; Pictures and information about marital status, education, profession, and income. Personal data includes IP addresses, accounts or site data, as well as biological measurements.
