The Civil Guard continues the search for the ex-spouse of Estela BS, the 36-year-old woman who was found dead last Friday, precisely at the home of this man – in the parish of Belesar in Baiona -, of whom it is unknown still not where it is. Thus, the search operation began early Friday, from the moment this crime became known, and after the woman’s ex-spouse, who was the one who alerted the emergency services, fled after informed the health workers who came (and who could only certify the death of the young girl) declared that he was not going to “eat this brown”.
In the first hours, a search operation was deployed in the area, in which drones participated. As the days went by, the circle expanded to try to find the man and, as usual in this type of action, other security forces were informed, notably those from neighboring provinces and Portugal, for example the proximity of the establishment. border with the neighboring country. So far, the research has not borne fruit.
Baiona’s crime is being investigated as a homicide of gender-based violence and investigations are being coordinated by the Vigo Violence Against Women Court. Estela BS was registered in the VIOGEN system and her ex-partner was the subject of a restraining order against her, issued on April 30.
The man called 112 around 4:35 a.m. to report that he had found Estela at the door of his house.
