Elgiz Sarhad oglu Maharramov, accused of killing his brother’s wife in Agjabadi, was convicted.
The “Report” reports that the verdict was read in the Lankaran Serious Crimes Court in the trial presided over by Judge Khammad Nuriyev.
According to the ruling, Elgiz Mahrramov was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison.
It should be noted that the incident occurred in May this year in Agjabadi district. According to official information, Elgiz Maharramov was convicted of killing his brother’s wife, Nazmiya Maharramov, with a knife in a house in the district’s Saricali village.
He was charged with article 120.1 (intentional homicide) of the Penal Code.
