The Campo de Criptana group plays again during Holy Week in the city, after almost a decade of absence
The brotherhood of the sentence Cordoba already has a group for the mystery passage of Holy Monday 2025: the Cristo de la Elevación group, from Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real).
Following the decision of the Centuria Macarena of Seville not to continue, the council of officers of the brotherhood, meeting on October 1, 2024 in ordinary session, agreed that the musical accompaniment of Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Sentencia for next year will be provided by the Band of Cornets and Drums of the Santísimo Cristo de la Elevación de Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real). This was reported this Thursday on social networks.
This group from La Mancha returns, almost a decade later, to Holy Week in Cordoba. In the past, it was with the Lord of the Garden during the Via Crucis Magno of 2013 and two Palm Sundays, those of 2015 and 2016.
He also played his songs Fallen of Fernán Núñez at that time. For its musicians, it is “a reason for excitement”, as they explain in a press release.
