The proposal, which was approved with the only vote against from the Usicam union, “is another example of the commitment of the Government of Castile-La Mancha to continue providing stability to Sescam professionals”, according to the general director, Alberto Jara, who recalled that the sum of all public job offers approved since 2015 is transforming more than 12,000 professionals of the regional health service into permanent staff, as indicated by the Council in a press release.
“In recent years, the Government of Castile-La Mancha has demonstrated a clear commitment to public employment, to continue reducing temporary work and offering more attractive working conditions to health professionals”, highlighted Jara, who stressed that with the development of this new call, a temporary employment rate of 8 percent will be reached, “the maximum that we are allowed to reach.”

Of the 3,907 places included in this new offer, 966 They are employees doctor, including 529 specialist doctors of surface area, 245 of family doctor, 77 emergency doctor and 54 from primary care pediatricians.

Finally, within the group of management and service personnel are included a total of 1,127 positions, of which 478 correspond to guards and 381 to the auxiliary group of the administrative function, as groups with the most called positions.
Co-development OPE 2023 and 2024
As indicated by the Director General of Sescam, the joint development of the Public Job Offers for 2023 and 2024 will make it possible to fill a total of 5,381 positions for all categories of statutory staff currently existing within the framework of the regional public system. health care.
In this regard, he highlighted that for the first time in the history of Sescam, positions are included in categories that had never been convened before, such as specialist doctor in the field of immunology, nurse specialized in mental health and occupational nursing, librarian, senior engineer, mason, carpenter, driver, seamstress, housekeeper, monitor, hairdresser, painter, telephone operator, launderer and ironer.
The result of the joint development of the two OPEs will result in the creation of 1,187 medical staff positions (of which more than 300 correspond to family doctors); 1,333 qualified health personnel (including 1,131 nurses); 1,309 technical health personnel (of which more than 932 correspond to auxiliary nursing technicians); and 1,552 to management and service staff (the largest number of positions corresponding to guards, with 542).
UGT, in favor
For its part, the UGT showed its support for this OPE, recalling that it will allow at least 5,381 professionals to apply for a permanent position at Sescam during the next call for oppositions, as the union reports in a press release.
At this point, they highlighted that, together and since 2016, a total of 13,860 places have been approved in successive public job offers, allowing that once all have been developed and concluded, including the one approved this Friday, the percentage Temporary employment of Sescam professionals rose to 8%, thus transforming the remaining 92% into permanent professionals.
However, they criticize that, despite the measures taken in this direction to reduce temporary work, there is no progress in the resumption of the professional career system for Sescam professionals, asking to “resume without delay” the negotiation which makes its implementation possible. .
