THE DANA brought with him torrential rain, hail and tornadoes devastating, leaving a trail of chaos in their wake. Especially in Albacete, Malaga and Valencia. There are cities transformed into rivers, citizens stuck in their homes, families who have been waiting for hours for news of their loved ones and workers who have spent the night in their offices or in neighboring businesses.
THE stunning images of the storm show the extent of the damage in several areas. As in the industrial zone of Carlet, Valencewhere a tornado left residents scared.
The testimonies of those who experienced the phenomenon are heartbreaking. A driver who was stuck in his truck on the A-7 during the tornado reported: “A hurricane, man. Be careful! A truck overturned. Another car is missing its windows.”. As the wind shook their vehicle, silence took over the interior, turning the experience into a moment of intense tension.
Once the tornado passed, disbelief took over: “My God! My God, what a tornado, that just happened!”he exclaimed as he saw the devastation around him. “It brought down all the sides of the ship,” he added, highlighting the impact DANA has had on the region. There are still victims waiting to be rescued, with the initial report indicating more than 50 dead.
