The forty-second edition of the Sierra Morena – Córdoba World Heritage Rally, which will mark the event’s return to the FIA European Rally Championship in 2025, presented its European Championship project this Thursday. The presentation took place in the gardens of Sansueña, a setting in which a group of around 90 businessmenin collaboration with the authorities, to create synergies that will serve to strengthen support for the event, which takes the big leap towards the major international championship.
The objective of this conglomerate of authorities, representatives and businessmen is none other than to create support synergies to the Cordoba project for the European Rally Championship, a great project for the entire province given the importance of the event for Cordoba society and the importance of having managed to reach the European Championship FIA Rallies.
A test which, in recent editions, has returned to its origins with the solemn start at the emblematic Avenue República Argentinathus succeeding in bringing the emotion of a major rally in Spain to the ever-devoted fans of Cordoba.
Important personalities of this European Championship project were present at the event, starting with the mayor of Córdoba, Jose Maria Bellido. Also present at the event were Andrés Lorite, first vice-president of the Provincial Delegation of Córdoba and delegate for Infrastructure, Sustainability and Agriculture, as well as Javier González Calvo, former CEO of Córdoba CF who was also involved in this project. let’s forget the importance The Córdoba CF club has been important for the rally, having already experienced half a dozen editions with the service park located on the outskirts of El Arcángel.
The municipalities that will be part of this edition of the rally, such as Montoro, Villanueva del Rey, Villaviciosa, Villaharta, Obejo or Pozoblanco, were also represented, in addition to attending the event a group of nearly 90 businessmen from the province of Córdoba.
