The sky of Segovia is illuminated by 220 drones during the Heritage Night

The seventh edition of “Heritage Night” was a complete success. On Saturday night, hundreds of people gathered around the different cultural proposals programmed throughout the city. Segovia was one of the 15 cities where it was held simultaneously and that are part of the Group of World Heritage Cities.

Segovia highlighted the monumental and artistic wealth of the city structured, as in previous editions, in three sections. In addition, there was an open-air show at night, the demonstration of 220 drones making various figures in the sky of the city.

In the “Living Heritage” section, hundreds of people were able to stroll through the garden and patio of the Antonio Machado House-Museum, illuminated for the occasion by candles. Also, in the “Open Heritage” section, the Jewish Quarter Educational Center opened its doors to all visitors.

Finally, thanks to the “Heritage Scene”, the hundreds of people gathered in the city were able to enjoy the show of Adrián Vega and Adriano Galante in the prison of Segovia.

The president of the World Heritage Cities Group, Goretti Sanmartín, defines the programming of the “Heritage Night” as “the largest cultural event celebrated simultaneously in 15 historic cities of Spain.”

“A great event to redefine the emblematic spaces of our historic cities with the artistic creation of a multitude of people who have made this night a unique experience to enjoy and enjoy our heritage, love it and bequeath it to future generations,” he adds.
