Police in Oslo arrested the eldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Marius Borg Heiby, in connection with a rape. This was reported by the Norwegian portal NRK.
The 27-year-old was detained in a car near the Skaugum estate, the official residence of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit on the outskirts of Oslo. Afterwards, the crown princess’s heir was taken to the police station. The issue of his further detention will be decided later.
According to the publication, this is the second arrest of the crown princess’s son this year. Now he is accused of “having sexual relations with a person who is unconscious or unable to resist.” We are talking about the events of earlier this year; Police began investigating these allegations in early November. Furthermore, the victim wanted to remain anonymous; according to her lawyer, the girl is being questioned.
Previously, Marius Borg Heiby was accused of committing acts of violence in intimate relationships with two previous girls, of threatening to kill and of violating a restraining order. He pleaded guilty to two charges but categorically denies the rape charge.
