A group of 35 eminent Institutional Relations professionals, belonging to some of the most important Spanish companies in their sector, decided to unite knowledge, experiences, projects and ideas with the creation of the Spanish Club of Institutional Relations Managers.
This new non-profit professional space seeks to become a strategic meeting point for dialogue and common action, with the aim of addressing the country’s major challenges by promoting collaboration between the main agents of the public and private spheres to promote the economic and social progress in an era of profound transformation.
The Club was born with the mission of bringing together managers to generate value, encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences and projects that contribute to the realization of innovative solutions, that strengthen the Spanish economic fabric and have an impact positive on society.
Its main drivers, Inigo Guard (Endesa), Blanca de Ulíbarri (KPMG) and David Garcia (FCC), emphasize that “we are living in a moment of global transformation, of great challenges that we must face as a society. “Businesses have a responsibility to anticipate, share knowledge, establish common positions and achieve solutions that promote economic and social progress for all.”
“We must drive change, promote public-private engagement on issues such as Talent, humanization of AI, optimization of business competitiveness with a sustainable balance, etc… During the first meetings to form the Club, we perceived that there is a common feeling that we will only progress as a society if we manage to be plural and enrich the dialogue in search of innovative solutions.
This new forum will meet regularly to discuss and analyze the most relevant strategic issues that affect both the business environment and society as a whole.
In this context, the Club will organize conferences, debates, conferences and meetings with key stakeholders, where managers will have the opportunity to build strategic alliances promoting economic growth and social well-being.
Constant interaction with government institutions, third sector organizations and other relevant stakeholders will enable the establishment of a cooperation network for the design and implementation of long-term solutions.
