Azerbaijan’s largest youth festival, the Summer Fest, has ended successfully. In total, more than 2,000 young people took part in the festival, which took place in a fun, educational and dynamic atmosphere and consisted of eight consecutive camps on different thematic themes.
The festival in the form of a tent camp was held in Shamakhi with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Public Union “IDEA”, the COP29 Presidency, the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan, the Union of Voluntary Organizations of Azerbaijan and the Youth Movement “CAVAN”. The Public Union and the Public Union “Young Volunteers” were held.

“Together for a greener future!” The main goal of the “Summer Fest”, held under the motto “Yay Fest”, was to promote the wide range of opportunities created for young people in various fields in accordance with the state youth policy, to support the development of young people and the efficiency and fun of their free time, as well as networking and socializing of young people from different regions.
Each camp of the “Summer Fest” that started on July 15 was unforgettable, fun, memorable and educational for young people. Environmental games, team building, hikes and recreational activities organized in the heart of nature provided young people with an interesting and educational experience. In addition, camp participants met their peers from different regions, made new friends and once again understood the importance of networking and socializing. An interesting and dynamic program designed for young people has contributed to their effective leisure time and personal and professional development. Trainings and interactive activities conducted by the Public Trade Union “IDEA” within the framework of the camp increased young people’s environmental awareness and encouraged their responsible approach to environmental issues.
