The European Space Agency (AKA) together with NASA presented to the public the most detailed and highest quality images of the Sun’s surface taken by the “Solar Orbiter” spacecraft.

The photographs were reportedly taken on March 22, 2023 from a record distance: 74 million kilometers from the Sun. To obtain a complete image, scientists created a mosaic of 25 separate images.
The quality of the original images of the solar disk is about 8,000 pixels, allowing us to see a large amount of detail that was not available before.
