The “supervisor” of Kyrgyz migrants in Russia was detained in Bosnia and Herzegovina

An active member of the Karyshkir organised criminal group has been detained in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sputnik Kyrgyzstan reports.

The Interior Ministry said the 40-year-old man was the “supervisor” of Kyrgyz citizens in Moscow and the Moscow region. According to the Kyrgyz authorities, he systematically extorted large sums of money from migrant workers.

The detainee was also wanted on suspicion of illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition.

The Kyrgyz Interior Ministry is currently deciding the issue of his extradition to his homeland.
