The Tedax detonate the artillery projectile that appeared in Tavera at the Infantry Academy

The Tedax (Specialized Technicians in Disabling Explosive Devices) of the National Police exploded Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. at the Toledo Infantry Academyan artillery projectile, used during the Civil War, which appeared around 1:45 p.m. at the Tavera Hospital during some ongoing work in the building.

The agents of the National Police of Toledo present on site requested the urgent intervention of Tedax and given the proximity of the discovery site to the San Juan Bautista public schoolcarried out a controlled evacuation of staff and students who were currently inside the school.

The projectile had not exploded, contained an explosive charge and was in an advanced state of deterioration. He was transferred in a security suitcase to the Infantry Academy, where it exploded in a controlled manner in a field provided for this purpose. The performance ended without any incident.
