With the departure of Lewis Hamilton on the way to Ferrari in 2025 and the signing of KimiAndrea Antonelli, George Russell will become the leader of Mercedes.
The Briton will face his fourth year at Brackley and is clear on the path to lead the team.
At least you have good examples to look at. During an interview on “Oracle Time,” Russell revealed which three sports legends he is looking to develop.
He first talks about Cristiano and Djokovic: “I have a lot of respect for Cristiano Ronaldo. He is undoubtedly the leader in his field. Same with Novak Djokovic, “They are fighters who demand their physical performance to the maximum.”
And of course, Lewis Hamilton: “And then there is Lewis Hamilton, obviously. He makes great use of his platform and I admire him for that as much as for his victories and what he does off the field. I hope to be one of these leaders in the years to come…”
