The Town Hall is rehabilitating five new social housing units on Paseo del Tránsito

The mayor of Toledo,Carlos Velázquezvisited the five houses of Paseo del Tránsito that the Town Hall School-Workshop and this will be managed by the Department of Social Services by city entities. The objective is to use these houses to help people in difficulty in the city of Toledo.

Velázquez explained that “we are improving the attention we provide in the area of ​​social protection and, on the other hand, we are also taking advantage of employment plans so that people who have difficulty finding employment acquire attitudes and skills that help them be able to integrate into the job market as quickly as possible“.

The mayor indicated that this This is the line that will be followed, both in the competent Department and in the employment plans, of which he thanked the workers for “this unbeatable work of action and adaptation of housing to put them at the service of Social Assistance of the City Hall of Toledo in a doubly social action”, putting ourselves at the service of people who are going through the worst times at the moment.

The property has four of the houses with an area of ​​between 45 and 50 square meters each and a multipurpose room of 80 square meters consisting of a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and 5 bedrooms. On the ground floor there is another house of more than 90 square meters with a living room-kitchen, bathrooms and 4 bedrooms.
