The municipal council of Lucène awarded the traffic reorganization project on Parque Avenue which, due to the incorporation of the cycle path, was affected by the loss of one of the four lanes that composed it. As the Councilor for Citizen Security and Mobility, Ángel Novillo, explained to ABC Córdoba, “there is more traffic density in the downward direction, in addition to supporting the exit and entry of vehicles from the access to the parking lot of a hypermarket.

Likewise, the intervention envisages an improvement in traffic regulation with “the construction of small roundabouts with paint and reflective materials at the height of Federico García Lorca and at the exit of Catalina Marín street, as well as on the Almazara Street, eliminating all traffic light crossings. at these intersections and in the last stretch of El Peso Street”, declared the mayor of WorksJavier Pineda.
