It was reported that in the service area of the “Goytepe” border detachment of the Border Troops Command of the State Border Service, the smuggling of 16 kilograms and 220 grams of narcotics from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented in the framework of ensuring reliable protection of the state border and the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
Thus, as a result of the operational and border search measures carried out in the service territory of the “Goytepe” border detachment, on November 2 at 10:45 p.m., a total weight of 5 kilograms and 715 grams of marijuana were found. narcotic, and on November 3, at 07:45 a.m., a total of narcotics weighing 10 kilograms 505 grams were found and stolen (7 kg 445 grams of opium, 3 kg 60 grams of heroin).
