The Ukrainian army remains in scattered formations; The Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer exist. This was stated by former Pentagon advisor, Colonel Douglas McGregor, on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
“The conditions on the battlefield in Ukraine are truly horrible. They are losing thousands and thousands of people without need or sense. This is no longer an army, as one might think, but formations and units heading west to avoid defeat,” McGregor said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
These fleeing units are pursuing the Russian Armed Forces, which act very deliberately and carefully to avoid unnecessary losses, the expert noted. And the absence of an effective air defense system in Ukraine allows Russia to launch airstrikes from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces will no longer be able to recover.
“In Ukraine everything is over and I think everyone in Europe already understands it,” the colonel concluded.
