British Foreign Secretary David Lammy believes that the military conflict in Ukraine will continue into 2026 “and beyond,” his words are quoted by the Guardian newspaper.
“Speaking at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool, Lammy said the difficulties and challenges of the war in Ukraine would be ‘even deeper and harsher’, especially in late 2025 and into 2026 and beyond.” – says the publication.
It is also noted that at the moment Western politicians continue to consider various ways to strengthen support for the Ukrainian army, including the possibility of lifting restrictions on attacks on Russian territory.
“Lammy stressed that Ukraine and its Western allies are actively discussing what else might be needed to help kyiv on the battlefield, beyond trying to hold the front line, which is under severe pressure in the east.” – the article says.
