On November 17, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack across Ukraine, firing around 120 missiles and 90 drones in one day.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel.
According to data, at least 14 people died during the night and more than 60 were injured of varying severity. Shahed combat drones, as well as cruise, ballistic, hypersonic and aeroballistic missiles, were used in the attack, causing destruction and numerous casualties.
“Russia and its war criminals only understand force. And only through global unity can we stop this evil, which threatens the lives of Ukrainians throughout the country,” the Ukrainian embassy in Israel said in a statement.
Recall that on November 17, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack against Ukraine, attacking energy infrastructure facilities and civilian areas. The attacks hit kyiv, Odessa, Nikolaev, Lviv, Krivoy Rog, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky and other cities. As a result of the bombing, civilians were killed and injured, houses were destroyed and energy facilities were damaged.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko confirmed that the attacks affected thermal power plants and power lines. In several regions, including kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov, emergency power outages occurred, causing disruptions in the operation of electric transport and water supply. DTEK reported serious damage to equipment at several facilities and said this was the eighth massive attack on the country’s energy system this year.
