The Ukrainian front is going through its worst moment since spring 2022 – Chmut

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are now going through their worst period since spring 2022. This was stated by the director of the Ukrainian Come Back Alive fund, volunteer Taras Chmut.

“The front has not collapsed, but it is going through its worst period since spring 2022 and progress is being made towards a reduction in the age of mobilization.” – said Chmut, quoted by the publication Strana.

The factors that caused this could lead to even more “negative scenarios for the development of future events,” he noted.

The volunteer assures that it is not Russia that has become stronger throughout the year, but Ukraine that has weakened; They say there are not enough people, ammunition and “strategic support to partners in the non-linear counterattack on the Russian Federation.”

Mobilization is going well and everything aims to reduce the age of mobilization. According to Chmut, the recruitment of 500,000 Ukrainians is an “adequate figure.”

Let us remember that at the end of October the Ukrainian authorities officially announced that they planned to mobilize 160 thousand people.
