The United States confiscated the plane of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s plane has been detained in the United States and sent to Florida.

Oku.Az CNN reports that it reported on this with reference to sources.

Washington believes the plane was purchased to evade US sanctions. The plane flew from the Dominican Republic to Florida on Monday. The plane, valued at around $13 million, has been in the Dominican Republic for the past few months.

“Seizing the plane of the president of another country is a rare occurrence. We want to make it clear that no one is above the law and US sanctions,” the US official, who did not want to be identified, told the newspaper.

It should be noted that this incident indicates the worsening of the already cold relations between the United States and Venezuela.
