The Palestinian Ambassador to the UN, Er -ryad Mansur, told reporters on Friday that he had just learned about Rubio’s decision and evaluating his influence.

“We will see what this means and how it relates to any of our delegations, and we will answer accordingly,” he said.

Mansur said that Abbas heads the delegation at the UN meetings next month and is expected to perform at the General Assembly, like many years.

It is expected that he will also take part in a high -level meeting under the chairman of France and Saudi Arabia on September 22 by decision of the two states, which requires Israel to live next to an independent Palestine.
