The United States has announced that it has allocated a new arms package worth $425 million to Ukraine.
Oku.Az reports that the Pentagon press service published information in this regard.
As follows from the document, the new aid package includes ammunition for NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, HIMARS rocket launchers, Stinger portable anti-aircraft missile systems, 155 and 105 mm artillery shells and TOW anti-tank missiles. -tank systems, anti-UAV vehicles “Javelin” and “AT-4”, air-to-ground ammunition, armored personnel carriers “Stryker”, small arms and ammunition.
The document underlines that the weapons will be allocated to kyiv through the PDA (Presidential Drowdown Authority – ed.) mechanism, which allows the president of the United States to supply weapons to a foreign partner without Congressional approval by executive order.
