The university denies that the video with extremist chants was filmed within its walls

On November 16, the video was distributed online. In it, a group of young people, wrapped in Azerbaijani flags, shouted “Allahu Akbar”, called for dealing with the Russians and supposedly walked through the Moscow Financial and Legal University (MFUL).

The university denies that the video was filmed at MFLA.

“The video, which is actively distributed in the media, has nothing to do with the university and was filmed outside the university’s academic buildings. However, a photograph showing the provocateurs holding flags, including the flag of our university, gives rise to a more detailed investigation. The management will take the most serious measures to resolve the situation. “The perpetrators of the procession will be expelled and sent to law enforcement.” — reports the university press service on its Telegram channel.

They clarified that the Moscow University of Finance and Law is cooperating with the police and all investigative authorities to provide the necessary information to clarify the circumstances of the case.

“The university management is carrying out an internal audit” — added to MFLA.

Telegram channels already believe that it could be another university in Moscow. And the screams supposedly could not be a call, but the Azerbaijani “yashasyn” (long live).

“Have you imagined a similar situation in Baku? I can’t either. And it should not be like this either in Baku or Moscow. And therefore, if this is confirmed, not only should those who did this be punished (regardless of whose children they were), but also the problem should be resolved somehow with the university administration.” – writes the blogger Yuri Podoliaka.
