The University Hospital of Navarra obtains JACIE accreditation for bone marrow transplants.

He University Hospital of Navarra (HUN) received the JACIE AccreditationA international recognition which guarantees quality and safety in the bone marrow transplants which are carried out in its hematopoietic stem transplantation unit.

This certification, granted by the Accreditation Committee of the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) and the European Group for Transplantation (EBMT), underlines that Centers that achieve it achieve better clinical results for your patients.

The process of transplant includes obtain stem cells from donors or the patient himself, until comprehensive and complex care which require the transplant patients.

The HUN, in addition to being reference center in Navarre, perform more than 50 transplants per year and has advanced technology such as the CellMa Advanced Therapies White Room, in collaboration with the Navarrabiomed-Miguel Servet Foundation.

JACIE accreditation, valid for four years, implies meet rigorous standards which provide a continuous improvement in all procedures. Currently, only 256 centers in 35 countries have this prestigious certification.
