THE University of Navarra organized a collection of food and basic materials for the affected by DANA in the Valencian Community. Under the motto “48 hours UNAVXDANA”several solidarity containers were placed in the esplanades of the Faculty of Communication and the Hexagon, in the scientific space, which will be installed until next Wednesday, November 6, at 1 p.m.
THE collection, curated by Tantakathe academic center’s solidarity time bank receives prepared meals with a long expiration date (baby food, powdered milk, sandwich bread, nuts, cereals, canned goods and milk) and hygiene products (diapers, wipes, FPP2 masks, compresses and gardening or resistant gloves).
Furthermore, the University of Navarra joined the fundraising launched by Caritas and the food bankwhose money will also be used to meet the needs of those affected. Also on its Madrid campus, from today until the 7th, a solidarity food collection will take place and an account number and bizum have been authorized to make donations.
On the other hand, in all The masses celebrated this week on campus will be particularly requested by those concerned by DANA. In addition, next Wednesday, November 6, at 8 p.m., at the campus hermitage, a rosary was prayed for the Valencians, the victims, the victims and their families.
Since DANA hit the Valencian Community last Tuesday, the University has tried to accompany, support and send the necessary aid. In total, 103 employees (from academic and research centers and the Clinic), 328 students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and 1,823 alumni are from the University Valencian Community. Added to them are the 202 University donors residing in Valencia.
