Noting the allegations against UNRWA, he said only a “small percentage” of its staff had links to terrorist groups and were involved in the October 7 attack.
“At the same time, we know that UN staff, including UNRWA staff, are vital to humanitarian assistance in Gaza and are at great risk in doing their work,” the US ambassador said, calling on Israel to provide more information on the accusations against UNRWA.
