A new claim has been made regarding the sale of F-35 fighter jets that has been going on for years between Türkiye and the United States.
According to the statement, US officials have presented a new proposal to Türkiye for the S-400 air defense system.

According to the article, the United States has made a proposal to remove the obstacle to the sale of the F-35 fighter jet to Türkiye.
According to the proposal, in exchange for Turkey’s re-entry into the F-35 program, the S-400s are stipulated to be delivered to the United States or to the US-controlled sector at the Incirlik base.
It should be noted that the United States and NATO consider the purchase and use of S-400 systems by Turkey problematic, stating that S-400 air defense systems cannot in any way be integrated into existing NATO radar and defense systems.
For this reason, the United States announced on July 17, 2019 that it was excluding Turkey from the production process of the new-generation F-35 fighter jets, of which it is a project partner. Because of this, if the S-400 system in Turkey’s hands is used in the same environment as the F-35, it indicates the possibility that Russia could steal important information about these fighter jets.
