This was announced on Monday by the Minister of Health, Marciano Gomezduring a press conference to report on the situation and the measures that are being adopted to guarantee health care to those affected by the storm.
Gómez explained that if a person suffers from any type of abrasive or cutting injury in these areas, they must go to the nearest health point to have it cleaned and disinfected and, depending on their vaccination schedule, administer the vaccine against the tetanus virus if necessary. .
Concerning the approved psychological unit, it will initially be composed of 30 specialists, both from the Ministry and the Military Emergency Unit (UME) and will have ten consultations and two medical ambulances. Opening hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This unit will complement the mental health care provided to those affected. on site in the municipal offices provided by the town halls of Catarroja, Paiporta and from this Monday in Albal.
