The Vallkirias del Pisuerga, in charge this Friday afternoon of giving the proclamation with which they began the Fair and Festivities of the Virgin of San Lorenzo in Valladolid, encouraged the people of Valladolid to “show what makes us unique”, among which they mentioned “our gastronomy, our wines, the party”, as well as “the warm welcome of our people and our clubs. This is one of the first messages that Laura Pérez, the first “Vallkiria” to speak before a crowded Plaza Mayor, eager to have a good time, sent from the balcony of the town hall.
He did so with the statue of Count Pedro Ansúrez, who already wore the traditional purple scarf placed by the peñas.
