“On August 21, in the Yasamal district of the capital, G. Jafarov was detained by officers of the State Highway Police (STP) who were on duty in the area because he violated traffic rules and did not stop at the traffic light.

During the inspection, he was informed that the car would be placed in the penalty area, as it was determined that his driving rights were restricted.

At that time, Gazi G. Jafarov deliberately disobeyed the lawful request of the police officers and showed indiscipline and tried to set the car on fire by pouring gasoline on it.

His attempt was prevented by police officers.”
