The vice president of the Central African Republic fell unconscious during his speech at the podium

Paul Mashatile, the 62-year-old vice president of the Republic of South Africa, lost consciousness during a speech at a podium in the north of the country.

Oku.Az reports that local radio station SABC broadcast information about this.

The Vice President attended the ceremony held at the cultural centre in the village of Valoyi in Limpopo province. The Vice President’s press secretary Keith Khoza said Mashatil had been examined by doctors.

The vice president has thus received the necessary help and is now feeling well. He added that there was no need to hospitalise Mashatil.
