He UPN Municipal Group of Villava City Hall rejected the actions of the pro-ETA clowns Pirritx, Porrotx and Marimotots as part of the program of employer festivities which will take place from October 5 to 13. These clowns, who generally perform in front of an audience of children, carry in their songs messages linked to the nationalist left and in favor of ETA prisoners.
For this reason, regionalists denounced that “We cannot support the publicly funded hiring of clowns whose trajectory is marked by its collusion with the pro-ETA cause and which includes among its members people who do not condemn terrorism. It should be remembered that the municipal group of PP de Villava also asked that these clowns apologize to the victims of the ETA terrorist group if they want to perform in front of children.
“This is the reason why we cannot approve the party program and for which we voted against,” they add. Concretely, this performance will take place on Sunday October 6 at 6:30 p.m.
From the UPN, they assure that they are in favor of their realization activities in Basque for children and girls, “but not through this group that tried to use the most defenseless in society to transmit radical nationalist propaganda“.
“One more action which is part of the EH Bildu policy in favor of related groups and independent beach bars,” they concluded.
