Rovshan Gasimov, wanted for defrauding events organized by officers of the Shirvan city police department, was detained.
Oku.Az reports that the Shirvan regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on this.
R. Gasimov was reported to have stolen 40,000 manats from the victim, making false promises that he would sell his own house to a Shirvan resident, as well as helping him get a mortgage loan.
According to the court’s decision, the measure of preventive detention was chosen for R. Gasimov. If there are other citizens affected by the detainee’s illegal actions, they can report it to the police.
