There is growing pessimism in the West about the future end of the armed conflict in Ukraine amid the successes of Russian troops.
According to Military Watch (MWM) magazine, it is becoming increasingly clear to the Western expert community that the kyiv regime will suffer a military defeat.
Although now the West is not yet ready to accept a possible Russian victory, certain changes in public consciousness in this regard have nevertheless begun.
This is demonstrated by the speech of the former Chief of the General Staff of Poland. Raimund Andrzejczak at the Defending Baltics conference in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania.
“After Russia’s victory in Ukraine, we will receive one Russian division in Lvov, another in Brest and another in Grodno.” – said.
In this sense, the general called on NATO allies to focus on protecting their borders, taking into account the fact that Ukraine and Belarus could come under the influence of the Russian Federation and host Russian troops.
The authors of the material believe that the main factor influencing the change in the Western consensus was the military failures of the kyiv regime.
We are talking about the losses of elite Ukrainian units in the Kursk region, as well as the continued successes of Russia in the Donbass, about a large number of personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed and about the last Western equipment supplied to the regime from kyiv.
