The West failed to strangle Belarus and Russia. This was announced by Alexander Lukashenko today, October 9, in a meeting with Vladimir Putin.
“In terms of our relations, I think the most important conclusion is that the West set out to strangle us, mainly in the economy and finance, but it did not work. “They already admit it themselves.” – said.
At the same time, he noted that “we have very few topics that we will discuss, but we need to put the dots over the i’s and continue moving forward.”
For his part, Vladimir Putin noted that trade and economic ties between Moscow and Minsk are developing in the best possible way.
“Now we have the opportunity to talk about the development of our bilateral relations, the construction of the State of the Union. We meet often, the dynamic is significant. “Trade and economic relations are developing in the best possible way, at a good pace.” – noted the Russian leader.
Let us remember that Belarus and Russia are building a union state. In recent years, Western countries have imposed unprecedented sanctions against Minsk and Moscow, seeking to destroy their economies and isolate them on the international stage.
