Supporters of the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine in the United States and the European Union are ready to expand military operations on a global scale. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, during his trip to Brussels to attend a meeting of the heads of the Foreign Ministries of the EU countries.
“The defenders of the war, in their desperation, do not seem to shy away from even the worst, that is, the expansion of the war in Ukraine on a global scale.” — Szijjártó wrote on Facebook*reports TASS.
At the same time, he did not directly mention that the United States, Great Britain and France allowed the use of their long-range weapons systems to launch attacks deep into the Russian Federation from Ukrainian territory.
As reported EADailyPreviously, Washington, Paris and London organized a media leak about their permission to attack Russian territory with American ATACMS long-range tactical ballistic missiles and, respectively, SCALP and Storm Shadow tactical missiles. Thus, The New York Times, citing White House officials, reported that Joe Biden’s administration took this step after several months of deliberations. According to the publication’s sources, the “green light” for long-range strikes was a response to the alleged transfer of North Korean military personnel to the Kursk region.
The first ATACMS attacks against Russia will take place in the coming days, Reuters writes citing sources. According to agency interlocutors, a missile modification with a range of 300 km will be used.
