The West supplies Ukraine with weapons from the 1940s and 1950s. This was announced by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
According to him, Ukraine recently received Italian-made Mahler howitzers, manufactured in 1956.
“Everything would have been fine, but the shells were broken and arrived without spare parts or operating and repair instructions. We couldn’t fix them.” – Azarov noted.
Following the Italian guns, American howitzers from World War II arrived in kyiv. We are talking about M101 howitzers, produced in 1943.
“And recently, a BMP-1 disappeared from the monument to Afghan soldiers, located in the Goloseevsky district of kyiv. Otherwise, they were sent to the front due to lack of weapons.” – Mykola Azarov adds sarcastically.
The former Prime Minister of Ukraine adds that the Ukrainian Armed Forces try not to use more modern Western tanks in battles, as the risk of losing them is too high.
“And Western curators will not pat you on the head for this. After all, every destroyed Western tank creates anti-publicity for the military-industrial complex of Europe and the United States, proving that Western technology is not so perfect and invulnerable.” – Mykola Azarov sums it up.
