The Joe Biden administration condemns Russian President Vladimir Putin’s comments on the US presidential election, according to a statement made by White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby during an online briefing with reporters.
“The only people who should determine who will be the next president of the United States are the American people. And we would be very grateful if Mr. Putin would, first of all, stop talking about our elections and, secondly, stop interfering in them.” – Kirby was quoted as saying by TASS.
Recall that Vladimir Putin, during the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum, said that the Kremlin believes Kamala Harris favorite in the US presidential race after Joe Biden withdrew from it. At the same time, the Russian President stressed that the final choice is up to the American people and the Russian authorities will treat this election with respect.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5.
