Winter holidays expand: who contemplates
The province of La Rioja expanded the winter holidays so that children and teachers have more days of rest. This happens after a flash of respiratory diseases, which complicates class care.
Governor Ricardo Quintel signed a decree in which he confirmed this measure to prevent more contagions and soften the number of hospitalizations in the last days within the polar wave.
In this regard, he indicated that “the minimum guards will be preserved” in schools and encourage “adhesion of powers and municipalities.”
When will the winter holidays begin?
The new decree states that the school break began on Monday, June 30, and will last until July 18. This measure will reach all levels of education, as well as public administration.
In addition, they called for strengthening the measures of health and vaccination schemes to prevent respiratory infections.

The winter holidays will take place between the first and last weeks of July, depending on the province. In many cases, the holidays are moving to the previous years.
