He Department of Territorial Cohesionthrough the General Directorate of Public Works and Infrastructureis launching a call for tenders for maintenance and improvement works on the surfacing of nine road sections of the conservation centres of Pamplona, Estella and Tafalla. The interventions will cost 5.4 million euros (VAT included), 1.8 million euros for each of the centres.
These actions are part of the maintenance and conservation works of the Navarre road network during this year. It also responds to the will of the Government of Navarre promote territorial and social cohesion throughout the Foral Community. To achieve this, “it is essential to guarantee safe mobility and connect people to their territories and thus contribute to the Economic development of Navarre“.
All the proposed interventions will focus on the repair of the coating, so that the road surface has a comfortable and safe tread that will allow the roads of Navarre to be kept in good road, safety and comfort conditions, in addition to contributing to the optimal maintenance of the road network of the Foral Community.
Details of interventions
As for the Pamplona Conservation Centre, the project includes the repair and rehabilitation general of the firm of PA-30 Pamplona Ring Roadbetween pp.kk. 0+450 to 1+600, 9+400 to 11+350 and 18+300 to 19+450; the PA-35 access to the Ezkaba tunnels in the southern area, between stations 0+000 and 0+260; the NA-150 Pamplona – Aoiz / Agoitz – Lumbier, between stations 0+000 and 8+800; and the NA-6009 Beriáin-Subiza, between stations 0+000 and 4+100.
The milling, replacement and layer extension performances in the NA-150 Highway It will be carried out by an alternative passage regulated by signallers. During this time, the works of milling, replacement and spreading of the layer on the road PA-30 and PA-35 It will be achieved by diverting traffic onto one lane between successive roundabout areas or between interchanges and closing the road by spreading bituminous mixture in the other lane.
These works and if the weather conditions allow it to be carried out preferably at night between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. hours to minimize the impact on traffic.
The Estella Conservation Center includes two main performancesThe first is the strengthening and rehabilitation of the road surface. NA-132-AEstella-Lizarra – Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the section between kilometer 1+300 and kilometer 11+720. The second is the reinforcement and rehabilitation of the road surface NA-122, Estella-Cárcarin the section between station 1+780 and station 5+200.
The two reinforcement sections ensure the continuity of the road renovation work carried out since 2019 and which will end in 2025thus renewing the entire route on the two busiest roads in the Estella Conservation Area.
Regarding the conservation center of Tafallathe repair and rehabilitation of the road surface will be carried out on time. N-121 motorwayPamplona-Tudela, pp. ok. 50+800 to 53+150; on the NA-132 highway, Estella-Lizarra -Tafalla-Sangüesa / Zangoza, between pp.kk. 8+100 and 27+000; and on the NA-6020 highway, Carrascal-Marcilla, on pp. ok. 18+900 to 19+950.
Furthermore, within these projects, the corresponding adhesion risks and the replacement of the affected horizontal signage, as well as other cleaning actions in the area of action and the replacement of the affected expansion joints.
