Finland is famous for its love of saunas and aviation. Twin brothers Ari and Jari Lehtinen, 57, decided to combine these two passions and create a unique invention: the world’s first flying sauna.
Oku.Az reports about this with reference to kp.ru.
According to the information, the innovative sauna weighing 170 kg was raised by balloon to a height of 2,300 meters. The flight lasted approximately one hour and two crew members and two Finnish sauna lovers were on board. “There is no better entertainment than a sauna,” says Ari Lehtinen.
The brothers do not rule out that their flying sauna may become a popular tourist attraction in the future.
It should be noted that this is not the first unusual invention of the Lehtinen twins. Previously they created an underwater sauna, a canvas sauna and a mobile sauna covered in oxhide.
According to statistics, in Finland, with a population of 5.6 million inhabitants, there are more than 3 million saunas, which means that there is one for every two inhabitants.
