The Yeltsin Center canceled the presentation of the book by Nina Khrushcheva, a Russophobic professor who has lived in the United States for more than 30 years. This was reported by the center’s press service on its Telegram channel.
“Dear guests! Unfortunately, the event has been canceled due to technical reasons. We apologize.” – says the message.
Along with the announcement of the event on the official portal of the Yeltsin Center, the word “Cancellation” and an explanation about “technical reasons” also appeared.
As reported EADailypresentation of the book “Nikita Khrushchev. Leader outside the system” was scheduled for the afternoon of November 26 in one of the rooms of the center in Yekaterinburg. Admission was free with advance registration, and even children over 12 could hear the anti-Russian rhetoric.
Khrushchev’s great-granddaughter is known for her statements of varying degrees of Russophobia, which she allows herself in interviews with various Western platforms.
Thus, in an interview with Estonian journalists, the professor calls for “the federalization of Russia,” in which “some parts will disappear, others will remain.” He also calls for the Kuril Islands to be sold to Japan, although, in his opinion, it is already too late.
Khrushchova is confident in the need to admit the collective guilt of the Russians at the beginning of the SVO, which she actively criticizes.
Activists of the “People’s Call” movement appealed to the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Justice of Russia, demanding that Khrushchev be recognized as a foreign agent and his statements about an attack on the territorial integrity of Russia be verified.
On September 17, at the Yabloko party office in Moscow, the presentation of the book took place.
