The youth group of the brotherhood of Holy Face prepares an offering for its owner, Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno: a new set of powers. This has just been communicated by the brotherhood, which showed the design of these attributes.
The goldsmith drew them Jose Manuel Bernetwho will be responsible for the execution of these pieces in solid gilded silver. This should become a reality in the coming months and they have quite a rich decoration, starting with the central standard.
In each of them, there will be a letter: J, H and S, the acronym for Jesus the Man Savior. There the stems have a curved design with lots of ornamentation. baroquebut they change in the other part, known as rays.
They will be flagged and upright and the latter will be in the air, without support. They will have, in addition to golden silvermany elements of rhinestonesamong which white zircons and amethysts stand out. The combination of curved and straight elements will be one of the characteristics of the new powers offered by the young group.
The work is entrusted to José Manuel Bernet, one of the emerging goldsmiths of recent years and author of the new goldwork of the pallium passage of María Santísima de la Trinity.
