The youngest participant at COP29: “My goal is to bring children’s voices to the whole world”

“I am 12 years old. I am an environmentalist and social entrepreneur, and I am also the youngest head of delegation at COP29. This is my second time attending COP. I have planted 150,000 trees in 107 different places. I have been doing this since that I was four years old, that’s seven years that I’ve been doing this for over a year.

These words were spoken by Prasidhi Singh, an Indian who is the founder of the Prasidi Forest Fund and the “Green Pillar” climate education courses, in his statement to AZERTAC.

He highlighted the importance of climate education for children and adolescents:

“I think the biggest problem of young people is related to this. We have enough potential to make our wishes come true, but due to lack of funds we cannot implement them. In this sense, children need support. I am trying to take”

Prasidhi Singh also emphasized that Baku successfully hosted COP29:

“Baku is a very beautiful city. I also participated in COP28. To be honest, I think organizing the conference in Baku is a great decision. It is very good that Azerbaijan brings together young people from different countries of the world and contributes to the fight against climate change.”
