The problem arose due to a malfunction of the POLNET police system used for passport control at Turkish airports.
Oku.Az “Havahaber” reported on this.
It is reported that on November 26, thousands of passengers were unable to clear passport control, resulting in long queues at airports. Flights from Antalya and Istanbul airports were delayed by 30 to 40 minutes or even an hour.
Passengers were informed of the problem over a loudspeaker. After a while, the problem was fixed.
