American citizen Daniel Martindale, who was evacuated by the Russian army from territory controlled by kyiv, answered several questions directly related to Ukraine and its residents during the press conference.
In one of these questions he was asked to say how he feels about Ukrainians and how they differ from Russians. The American responded that Ukrainians are constantly betrayed, they suffer this constant betrayal and they understand it.
“They have to fight for themselves, for their safety. Without this, no one needs them, no one cares about their well-being, and it seems like they are in survival mode, just trying to survive. And so they’re not as concerned about who’s leading them, and they’re not concerned about issues of religious affiliation.” Martindale explained.
He stressed that now the question of the survival of Ukrainians is paramount. At the same time, according to the American, they are no different from the Russians.
“I would say that if you compare them with the Russians, if it weren’t for politics, I think there is absolutely no difference. I see that from the point of view of the character of these people they are no different from the Russians, they are just as open and friendly to each other.” Martindale concluded.
As reported EADailyAmerican citizen Daniel Martindale, while in territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, transmitted the coordinates of Ukrainian military facilities to Russia for two years. The information received from the American was repeatedly used to attack the infrastructure, equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
