A shooting on the campus of Tuskegee University in Alabama killed one person and injured 16 others. CBS News reported this.
“One person has died and more than a dozen have been injured in the shooting at Tuskegee University.” – says the publication.
It is stated that 12 people, including university students, were injured as a result of the shooting and were hospitalized. Four other people were injured in the incident, but not as a result of the shooting, according to local authorities.
As indicated by the television channel, the university is carrying out work to clarify the circumstances. Campus officials canceled classes for several days to allow authorities to complete their investigation. Local police have already detained a 25-year-old man who “was leaving the scene of the shooting with a gun,” Izvestia clarifies.
